How to share your radar

Sharing your work is a big part of foresight. When you build your radar with FIBRES, you can embed your live radar in another tool. You can also download your radar as an image.

Download an image of your radar

  1. Navigate to Radar.
  2. Select the radar you want to download as an image.
  3. Zoom and filter if you wish.
  4. Click the download icon in the top-right corner.
  5. Select from PNG or SVG.
  6. A transparent PNG image of the radar is downloaded.

Tip: Zoom and filter before downloading

The downloaded image will look exactly like your radar at the moment downloading. This means that any applied zooming or filtering will be reflected in the image. Also, if some of the titles on your radar are hidden due to limited space at the time of downloading, they won't be visible in the downloaded file either.

Share your live radar

You also have the option to share a live version of your radar that people can interact with. They will always see the latest version of your radar and be able to click on the findings on it.

This way even people not registered or logged into FIBRES may be able to see your radar and read the previews of the findings on the radar. Content can't be drilled-down further.

Share a link to your radar

If you want to share your radar with no other content around it, you can share a direct link to your radar. Clicking on the link will open the radar on a full page.

Please contact support@fibresonline.com to get your radar share link. Below is an example of a radar link. You can click it to see how interacting with a shared radar works:

Note: Treat the link as confidential

Please note that anyone with your radar link will be able to view your radar and the previews of the findings on it. Please treat the radar link as confidential and only share it with people who ought to see your radar.

Embed your radar

If you want to show your radar alongside some other content, like within a blog post or a web page, you can embed you radar with an iframe.

This is also a good option if you want your employees to be able to see an interact with your radar inside your intranet, without opening a separate link.

To embed your radar using an iframe:

Step 1: Get a share link for your radar

Contact support@fibresonline.com to get your radar link.

Step 2: Insert your radar link into an iframe to create an embed code

An iframe is a piece of HTML code that will let you embed the radar. Copy this iframe and insert your radar link in place of YOUR LINK HERE:

<iframe style="border: none; display: block; margin: 0px auto; width: 100%; height: 100vh;" src="YOUR LINK HERE">

The resulting embed link should look similar to this:

<iframe style="border: none; display: block; margin: 0px auto; width: 100%; height: 100vh;" src="https://app.fibresonline.com/embed/875/radar/mobilityRadar?apiKey=979beee6-d03c-4bce-b6aa-8214b58dfa95">

Step 3: Paste the embed code into your destination HTML

Most rich text editors have an "embed" option. Choose this option and paste the embed code into the embed section of your rich text editor.

Google is a great resource for tool-specific instructions. For example, here are instructions on how to embed content to a SharePoint page. We are happy to help if you are having trouble with this step.

You can see an example of a radar embedded with this method here.
