The web clipper failed. What's the problem?

If the web clipper fails and you see an error message, try clipping the article again first to rule out any temporary network issues.


If the problem continues, it may be due to one of these underlying reasons:

  • The article is behind a paywall (soft or hard).
  • The website blocks automated access, which prevents our clipping system from retrieving the content.
  • The clipping system was unable to identify or read the main content of the page.

If this happens, please consider creating a blank finding in FIBRES and copy-pasting the key information into it.
