Use linkages to tie related findings together. Linkages also build the Network.
Create linkages in Findings
- Navigate to Findings.
- Select one or more findings.
- Click Link from the action bar.
- Select from the linking options.
Linking options
- Link to each other: Instantly links the selected findings.
- Link to an existing finding: Lets you choose an existing finding to link the selected finding(s) to.
- Link to a new finding: Lets you create a new finding to link the selected finding(s) to.
- Link to an existing summary: Lets you choose an existing summary to link the selected finding(s) to.
- Link to a new summary: Lets you create a new summary to link the selected finding(s) to.
View linkages
Created linkages are visible inside the finding and in the Network.
Within a finding
- Open a finding.
- Scroll down to Linked items.
- View all linkages.
In Network
- Navigate to Network.
- View linkages between Megatrends, Trends, and Signal Clusters.
Edit linkages
Use the link editor within each finding and summary to create and remove linkages.
Create linkages with the link editor
- Open a finding or a summary.
- Scroll down to Linked items.
- Click on Manage linkages.
- Navigate to AI Picks or Unlinked and select items.
- Click Link.
Remove linkages with the link editor
- Open a finding or a summary.
- Scroll down to Linked items.
- Click on Manage linkages.
- Navigate to Linked and select items.
- Click Unlink.
Quick link from AI picks
AI picks provides linking suggestions from Findings and Sources.
- Open a finding or a summary.
- Scroll down to AI picks.
- Click the link icon to link a finding.
Locating unlinked findings
It's a best practice to link related findings as soon as you add them to FIBRES.
If you need to locate unlinked findings later on, there are two ways to do so:
In Findings
- Navigate to Findings.
- Click on the filter icon.
- Under Advanced, select Unlinked findings.
In Network
- Navigate to Network.
- Look for unlinked Megatrends, Trends, and Signal Clusters.
