Draft a Trend description from title

What is the drafting assistant
We've designed the drafting assistant to speed up your trend writing process. The drafting assistant takes in the title of your Trend and generates a first draft that you can refine from your unique points of view.
Make use of the drafting assistant to quickly create the first draft of your Trend descriptions and streamline your foresight work!
How to generate a Trend draft
The drafting assistant is available for all FIBRES users, including free trial accounts.
- Create a finding with the finding type Trend or Megatrend.
- Give your finding a descriptive title.
- Click Draft description based on title.
- Review the suggested context and refine if necessary.
- Click Draft.
"I don't see the option for drafting from title"
Make sure that:
- Your Trend title is in English. Currently, description drafting only works for titles recognized to be in English.
- You are trying to generate a draft for a Trend or a Megatrend. The drafting assistant doesn't work for findings with the finding type Signal or Signal cluster.
- Your user rights level is Trend manager or Administrator. Lower user rights levels can't edit Trends or Megatrends and can't thus access the drafting feature.
- Make sure the description field is empty. The drafting assistant is only available if there is no existing description.
Refine the context before generating
Contextuality is an important part of foresight work. For example, the trend "Artificial intelligence" can have very different embodiments and implications.
Our tools suggest a context for your Trend, but we recommend refining the suggested context to make the draft more to the point.
For example, if you work in the automotive industry, you may add this detail in the context modal for a more accurate trend draft.
What does the generated draft include
Think of the draft as a starting point for your own work. Everything generated by the drafting assistant is fully editable.
